Nightmare Before Christmas Birthday Party – Revisited

Ellie's Tricks & Treats Table...

We made it. Figuratively and literally. The party has been and gone, and wow. What an amazing turn out! great friends, fun food, and the decor was absolutely spot on what I wanted. Could not be happier with it! My plan was to create an illusion — a little girl’s Nightmare party, that was based upon the Disney 365 Store Decorations I fell in love with — seen in previous posts.

We started with the entry… because, at our parties, it’s all about that grand entry. This year, we decided the floating zero would do the trick. AND, as I delayed too long to buy the Zero who was our inspiration, I tried my hand at making him myself.

Floating Zero for the Nightmare Before Christmas Party

Not too difficult, with a white pillow case, a bent clothes hanger, and a little bit of fishing line. A glowing battery powered tea light inserted in the nose was just the thing to make him the perfect host for our little party.

The next thing, was the decor. Halloween and Christmas collided all over the house:

Jack and Sally greeting on the bar

Stair Garland

Ceiling gone batty...

Martha Stewart's Spiderweb Hallway

Purple tinsel trees on ghostly skirts...

More to come! We’ll talk games & food, decorations & fun!
