How to host a Disney Frozen Inspired Party – birthday, wedding, or just for the thrill of it

Frozen, another Disney Princess film that captured the hearts and attention of little girls of all ages… Princess Elsa, Ana, and all of the wonderful snow that goes along with it.

More snow suspends from the ceiling. Lighter than air.

This Frozen inspired winter wonderland birthday party was for Miss Mae, turning 13 and looking every inch a glamorous young lady in the making. Here’s how her mama did it… with a little help from our Etsy store, and the snowflake die cuts and confetti we have for sale.

This is not an out of the box Frozen party, and suffice it to say, Olaf the snowman did NOT make an appearance for these teenagers. More elegant, blue lights, glowing garland, and floating snowflakes abounded.

Dripping Frozen inspired snow flakes stayed aloft for 40 hours.

The first thought was: Let it snow. Let’s walk into a winter wonderland. Bright, light up snowflakes in the windows, every picture covered in icy blue and cut out snow flakes. But what really popped was the dripping blizzard of flakes falling from 20 foot ceilings. Strung on fishing line, each of the 4 dozen balloons was cloud for a flurry of flakes. Glue gunned to the strands, both large and small fractals floated all around the guests as they entered the party.

Blue and icy, this Frozen inspired candy bar with glittery tree lights kept the kids entertained!

Guests were offered treats for the taking at an icy candy bar, full of frozen inspired tidbits and treats. Snowcaps anyone?

The frozen snow flakes adorned each frame, each work of art, all covered to extend the party theme. And the cake. The CAKE! Frozen fondant snowflakes, glittery silver frosting, all for the delight of party goers.

Let it snow! let it go! Frozen inspired party with magical snow, even in southern California.

Outside, a snow machine launched puffy white “snow” into the crowd. The kids delighted chasing the bits of foamy snow from the sky — not for landing on your tongue, sad to say!

Games included a raging fluffy snowball fight, California style, with pillow fluff balled into pre-made snow balls, and stored in buckets until the kids could have at it!

Frozen inspired cookies, expertly decorated sugar cookies in blue and white frosting, with a thank you for coming!

On their way out, a hand decorated icing sugar cookie in the shape of a snowflake was the perfect Thank You for coming.
